SORRY BUT THE FARM EXPERIENCE IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON – Reopening in May 2024

The Country Bee Farm Experience allows you to enjoy our farm and meet the animals on a self-guided tour through acres of wildflowers and sunflowers (blooming August-October). We created this field full of vibrant pollinator-friendly flowers to help you escape your busy life, and enjoy nature’s beauty. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life that we forget to stop and smell the flowers… and that is exactly what you can do here. While wandering through our upper gardens you can meet and feed a variety of farm animals including pigs, alpacas, mini donkeys, hair sheep, emus, turkeys, ducks, peacocks, chicks, a bunny and a miniature pony! Our beehives can also be found in the upper gardens to be viewed from a distance. Grab a treat from our café to enjoy at one of the picnic tables or find some shade under the gazebo. A great outdoor adventure for families and nature enthusiasts! A variety of flowers bloom throughout the summer, with the main flower fields being in bloom from August through to October. Guests should expect to take 1-2 hours to enjoy the gardens, and we recommend proper footwear for being on a farm. The Farm Experience is open from June through October (weather permitting).

Yes! From a short and safe distance away you can see our bees at work while wandering through our upper gardens. Keep an eye out for the colourful beehives that produce our local honey. Down by our store, you can check out our observation hive. Built into an old tree, this hive allows you to safely view the inner workings of one of our colonies each year. Typically we have it filled with bees from the end of June into September.

The pathways leading up to the upper gardens are unpaved, medium-steep slopes and rocky. The farm store, petting zoo and observation hive (located directly next to the store) are wheelchair and stroller friendly.
