Country Bee Honey Farm

Saanich Peninsula Honey

At Country Bee Honey Farm we pride ourselves on our amazing honey, delicious infusions, farm raised livestock, and unique gift ideas. Our Premium Honey is collected from nine different locations around the Saanich Peninsula. Who knows, our bees might be making honey from your backyard! No extraction tastes the same, and neither is your experience when you visit the farm. But one things is certain… there is always something exciting to see at Country Bee Honey Farm!
The Field of Dreams

The Country Bee Farm Experience

In 2021 we opened The Field of Dreams, due to the cool temperatures and lots of rain we haven’t been able to plant our fields until mid June. SO….we thought it would only be appropriate to change the name of the tour. It’s now our Country Bee Farm Experience, it allows you to experience our farm and meet the animals on a self guided tour through acres of wildflowers (which will bloom in mid-late August). We have lots of new animals to meet this year as well.

What will bloom in August?? A field full of vibrant pollinator-friendly flowers and sunflowers to help you escape your busy life, and enjoy nature’s beauty. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life that we forget to stop and smell the flowers… and that is exactly what you can do here. A variety of flowers bloom throughout the summer, with the main flower fields being in bloom from late July through to August.

While wandering through our upper gardens you can meet and feed a variety of farm animals including goats, sheep, pigs, birds, hair sheep, emus, alpacas, baby chicks, miniature donkeys and a miniature pony! Grab a treat from our café to enjoy at one of the picnic tables located in the field or find some shade under the gazebo. A great outdoor adventure for families and nature enthusiasts!

In early July we introduced our pollinating pole and wooden sculptures to bring the back garden to life! Daily wrist bands are available, as well as season passes.

ABOUT US

In 2015 Jason and Lindsay took a hard look at their big city life and it was abundantly clear they weren’t living the life they wanted. So they took a giant leap of faith and purchased an 11 acre farm in the town that Lindsay grew up in.

If you’ve driven by the property you’ll notice that there is a lot going on, and a lot more to come. We have beautiful walking gardens, animal pens for the kids, and picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy a coffee and honey treat at. Come into our store to try all the fabulous honeys we have. The honey tasting bar is full of delicious choices.
