Farm Fresh Livestock
Farm fresh pork, raised right here on our own farm. Our pigs are fed fresh fruit and vegetables from local farms, mash from Devine Vineyards, and hormone free, GMO free, and antibiotic free grain.
Cost: $5/lb hanging weight (sides will weigh approx. 100-140lbs) + approx. $150-$225 butcher cost (cut and wrap).
Processing info: Westholme Meat Packers Ltd will be doing all the processing, and the head butcher of the Red Barn in Mill Bay, John Grady, will be doing all the butchering.
Available: Available at the end of September/early October. We will be contacting everyone near the beginning of September with a cut sheet and to go over any questions you may have. A date will then be set with you for pick up. Please note; we require all orders to be picked up the day agreed on due to lack of refrigeration space.
Deposit: $200 will be payable in the store and required to hold your order.
Prepare a delicious holiday family dinner with our farm fresh turkey. We are now taking reservations for Thanksgiving Turkeys. They are free range, and fed only hormone and antibiotic free food.
Cost: $5.50 /lb.
Turkey weight: 15 lbs – 25 lbs.
* We are unable to control turkey sizes as this is related to the weather during turkey growth. We try our best to provide you with the size you requested. When placing your order, you can let us know your preferred weight range (15 – 17lbs, 18 – 21lbs, or 22 – 25 lbs). Weight preferences will be honored in order of deposit payment, however, we cannot guarantee the exact weight. We’ll only have 10-15 birds from 14-16 pounds, and about 10 birds over 22lbs. The rest usually run about 18-20 pounds. Due to weather we could end up with larger or smaller birds and this is an average based on previous years.
Deposit: We require a $55 deposit. Payable in the store, and required to hold your order.
Pickup: Saturday, October 10, 9am-12pm. We’ll send an email one week prior to the pickup date to confirm pickup times and any other information you may need to know.
