The story behind…
Country Bee Honey Farm
“Bee-cause Pure is Simply Better”

Our Dream
At Country Bee Honey Farm, our mission is to support local – local bees, local makers, and local
businesses. We are committed to ethical local beekeeping and strengthening connections between
people, food, and the community.
We actively partner with local cafés, shops, and producers who carry and use our honey in their
own products, helping showcase the value of truly local ingredients while building a resilient,
community-focused food system.

Farm to Table Goodness
Our bees are managed without the use of antibiotics or pesticides – they’re as organic as a beehive can get. Our pork is raised on whiskey mash, local farm produce, and grains. We get our bison and beef straight from The Bison Guys in Hudson Hope B.C. We’re happy to say that we have happy livestock.

Specialty Honeys
We have some amazing honey in store, try our Whiskey Infused, Hot Pepper, Lavender or Smoked Honey. We also have local Fireweed honey from Campbell River, which tastes like no other! Our Buckwheat honey, with a strong rich flavor, will leave an impression. Thirsty? Grab a tasty Elixir beverage from the fridge. Check everything out here.
Our Story
Country Bee Honey Farm grew from a passion for bees, pollinators, and local agriculture into a space where community and nature meet. What began as a focus on honey production has expanded into a farm experience that invites people to slow down, reconnect with the nature, and learn about the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem.
Today, the farm encompasses gardens, an observation hive, animals, and outdoor spaces designed to reconnect you with nature. Whether you’re here to learn, shop local, or simply enjoy time outdoors, Country Bee Honey Farm is a place to connect – with nature, with community, and with the bees.
If you’ve driven by the property, you’ll notice that there is a lot going on. We have beautiful pollinator gardens, lively animal pens, and picnic tables for you to sit and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee at. We wanted to create a beautiful space that strengthens
community and gets people back into nature. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life that we forget to stop and smell the flowers…which is exactly what you can do here!
Bee in the know!
Come in and try all the fabulous honeys we have. The honey bar is FULL of amazing choices. We have Peninsula neighborhood honey – each yard tastes completely different. You can taste your way around the Saanich Peninsula, in a jar of honey. We also have amazing infused honey, which is great paired with food.
